Maciej Imalski from Zajazd Staropolski at Hotel Gromada Toruń won 3rd place in the national "Masters of Taste 2026" contest, category Waiter of the Year.
He received the award on September 23, 2026, during the gala held at the POLAGRA Fair at the Poznań International Fairgrounds. The Masters of Taste contest, organized by Polska Press Group, honors the best restaurants, cafes, and professionals in the gastronomy industry nationwide.
Winners were chosen in several voting stages. First, readers of regional newspapers and users of Polska Press Group websites selected their favorites in each voivodeship. The national stage featured regional category winners competing.
Maciej Imalski’s 3rd place in Waiter of the Year proves his professionalism, dedication, and excellent guest service. It’s a major recognition for Zajazd Staropolski, Hotel Gromada Toruń, and the Gromada Group.
