On November 14th at Hotel Arche Poloneza, a conference was held on the future of tourism in the context of sustainable development challenges, which is part of the project "Cooperation - Innovations - Sustainable Tourism". The conference was organized by the Polish Tourism Organization and the Mazovian Regional Tourism Organization.
Among the participants were the President of the Polish Tourism Organization - Rafał Szmytke, Vice President of POT – Małgorzata Wilk-Grzywna, and the President of the MROT Management Board - Izabela Stelmańska. Participants in the conference also included representatives from the hotel industry, local government officials, journalists, as well as lecturers and students from tourism colleges. The group was represented by: Dr. Adam Zaborowski - Marketing and Promotion Advisor to the President, and Michał Kolankiewicz - Director of the Marketing and Sales Support Office.
One of the points in the rich conference program was the presentation "How to encourage Nordic market tourists to travel around Poland while maintaining elements of sustainability," presented by Małgorzata Hudyma, Director of ZOPOT in Stockholm. After the presentation, representatives of the group had a meeting with Director M. Hudyma to discuss the possibilities of cooperation between the Cooperative and the Nordic market.
